There are many opportunities to canoe and kayak in the St. Clair River Watershed. Portions of Black, Pine and Belle rivers are very secluded and provide great opportunities for exploring the beauty of our watershed’s rivers.
Currently we have a hand drawn canoe map for the lower portion of the Black River that you may use at your own risk. Please do not canoe or kayak the Black River after large rain events when the water levels and flows may be higher and stronger than usual and more dangerous.
